The Long Story Short and Old Story New are Old and New Testament devotionals written for ages 4-12.

The books take each of the 156 Bible studies in the previously discussed book, The Gospel Story Bible, and lead you through a week- long study in your actual Bible. This is a great way to start reading Bible passages and talking about them with your kids. Each week starts with an object lesson and an illustration to prepare you for the week’s Bible study. Each day you read a passage from your Bible and then the author’s study notes to help your children get some of the main points in the passage. Next are some study questions to get you talking about it with your kids and teaching them to apply the truths to daily life.

These are wonderfully written studies, and the parents will certainly grow along with their children while studying through them.
